Cosy times with friends and family on the balcony

I used to live with a direct access to the cosiest cobbled yard in inner city Copenhagen. Where I live today, with the family, I have a total of three balconies and I´ve always thought it a pity that you use the outdoor space for only very short amounts of time because of the weather/ the cold. Aren´t heating lamps hard on the environment, I´ve always thought, while I wished for one, when I moved around in the city streets, or when I was sitting warm and comfy outside at a café with a mulled cider?

Today, I have heating lamps on the balcony, at my little boat shed in the Copenhagen harbour and at the summer house - all of them are from Wishco, where they keep a core focus on environment and sustainability.

Wishco is heating lamps developed in the North and for the North! The heating lamps are available in different sizes, designs and different colours and they heat up outdoor areas of 14 to 22 square meters. The design is cool, Nordic and fits in everywhere. I even have a tripod for my heating lamp at the summer house, so that we can easily move the heating lamp around in the garden and on the patio, as needed. They are super easy to operate, even for a non-technical type of person like me. All it takes is the pushing of a button.

To sit, for instance on the balcony with friends and family under the warm heating waves is among the cosiest things, I can think of. Before we expanded the square meters by taking over the neighbour apartment, it was quite often difficult to entertain guests in the evening, without the children keeping themselves awake for a long time, since the walls are very thin, and sounds travel. It is perfect to go outside and continue the evening out there, both when the sun is still up high, but it´s windy, and in the very late hours, after sunset - all year round, actually, because, you see, there is some serious heating power to be enjoyed under the Wishco patio heaters.

The heating lamps run on electricity. At Wishco they test, improve, and develop new technologies continuously, so that their heating lamps use the energy as efficiently as possible, use as little electricity as possible - and that the materials can be recycled, once a Wishco heating lamp, after many years, kicks the bucket. That is Wishco at its core: environmentally conscious heating for everyone.

I would not exactly call myself an outdoorsy type of person. Only seldom do I go to the forest and so on, mostly because I live in a city, but I love the fresh air and being outside - provided I am not freezing. After I have had children, I do not, of course, go out as much as I used to. This means that I am at home a lot more, but I still love socializing, drinking wine, eating pizza with the girlfriends on the balcony, playing boardgames or just to laugh and talk for an entire evening, and it is just so much easier to combine the fresh air and socializing, when all you have to do is sit down outside the door, without freezing at all.

You do not have to be a millionaire to own a Wishco heating lamp. Wishco has made quality lamps, with a strong and good-looking design, which last for many years, are easy to operate - and the prices are competitive, so that even students and families with children and without large sums of money at their disposal can afford to buy one or more. The heating lamps are nice to look at. And nice to use.
